Picatic: Vancouver's Picatic Acquired by Eventbrite

The event planning industry has just become a bit more consolidated. Picatic has announced they have been acquired by Eventbrite. Born in Saskatoon but based in Vancouver, Picatic is an event organization and registration company that can create pages to sell tickets, allowing for more revenue leading up to the actual event. Eventbrite, based in San Francisco, has a similar business plan, so it is natural for the larger Eventbrite to acquire Picatic.
