One of the most exciting parts of my company is having the privilege to talk with people that are dedicated to making the world a better place for its inhabitants.It's truly inspiring to hear about the incredible work that See Turtles and its founder, Brad Nahill, are doing to make a positive impact on the environment. Their achievements since 2008 include:Saving over 13 million baby sea turtlesRemoving 100,000 pounds of plastic from the oceanProtecting over 50 turtle hatcheriesOrganizing 30+ beach clean ups around the globeCreating a sustainable income for 150+ locals through eco-tourismWhile all of those accomplishments are beyond commendable, what I found so impressive is the fact that See Turtles operates so efficiently with a team of only three people, including Brad! Their efforts are not going to corporate overhead, and that was represented by their estimate that $1 dollar raised equals ten turtles saved! A few highlights include: the Billion Baby Turtles (BBT) saved initiative, removing 100,000 pounds of plastic every year, raising awareness of these issues, and collaborating with organizations like Travelers Against Plastic to address various environmental challenges.With their track record of success, and ongoing efforts to expand their programs, I'm confident that See Turtles will surpass their goals and make a lasting impact on the planet. While 100,000 baby turtles saved is a drop in the bucket towards 1 Billion, I'm gonna have a great night's sleep when I write that blog update by the end of this year!Thanks to Brad, the See Turtles team, and all of you.
