U.S. smartphone and tablet maker Posh Mobile is teaming up with Uber in a cross promotion that awards free Uber rides to Posh Mobile users in the U.S. and abroad.New and current Posh owners get a code that they can redeem for a free Uber credit up to $15 in the U.S. The credit varies by country. Consumers must use a Posh device to sign up for an Uber account for the first time to get a $15 credit added to their account.Posh makes unlocked GSM Android devices. It is backed by PCS Wireless, a $1 billion company that is also Posh's master distributor. PCS Wireless distributes phones and other products in more than 80 countries.Founded in 2013, Posh Mobile offers more than 15 dual-SIM tablets and smartphones. The products are sold through retailers, e-tailers, MVNOs and carriers around the world.The company said it focuses on elegant design, new technology and competitive prices. One product is the Posh Mobile's $89-suggested Micro X S240, launched late last year and said to be the industry's smallest smartphone.
