Praxis Blog Washington Provider Credentialing Rules Revised

Despite the predominance of Covid-19-related items in the news, state legislatures have also been working on other legislation impacting health care providers, carriers, and patients. Once such bill, House Bill 1552, was signed into law in the state of Washington on March 17, 2020. The bill impacts the provider credentialing process and authorizes MCO provider facilities to use substitute providers to fill a temporary vacancy.
