We served these at Matanzas Creek Winery's Lavender Festival8oz Butter, salted1 lbs Sugar, white1 Lemon, zested2 Tbl Lavender1½ lbs Flour, all purposeCombine all ingredients except flour in mixing bowl. Beat until creamy. Add flour, mix until combined. Roll into logs. Wrap and refrigerate.Slice approximately ¼" and bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 12 minutes depending on thickness.
