From Staff ReportsMore than 60 Retired and Senior Volunteer Program Provide-A-Ride volunteer drivers gathered at the Oklahoma City Zoo to celebrate the program's 20th anniversary.Volunteers enjoyed the music of saxophonist Larry Banks and keyboardist Delon Ellis as they dined on box lunches and sweets from a candy buffet during the celebration last month.Jennifer Richardson, of Deaconess Home Care, shared tips for preventing falls, and special guest Eva Painton, a Provide-A-Ride client, shared her appreciation for the program before volunteers were dismissed from the Canopy East Room to explore the zoo.RSVP Provide-A-Ride volunteer drivers have been providing free medical transportation for adults, ages 60 and older, since 1994.Read more on NewsOK.com
