Pumptek: Columbus equipment distributor buys Dayton company

A Dayton-area pump company has been acquired by a Columbus company that specializes in industrial equipment distribution and service. Columbus-based Ohio Transmission Corp. bought Monroe-based PumpTek for an undisclosed amount. PumpTek's two founders and five employees will remain in Monroe under Ohio Transmission management, a spokeswoman told me.
