A few days ago I ran across a thread on Reddit that mentioned a blog post from the team over at Crew. The topic of the post was about how they went from near belly up to smooth sailing with the help of a side project. The project they created, and the focus of their success story, is a free stock photo Web site that hosts high-quality, royalty free images for use on the Web. That site is Unsplash. I found the site a few months ago and we've used some of their photos on our blog and social media posts. I really like Unsplash, and it's a great site, but it doesn't have photos for every campaign theme. When you're a small to mid-size marketing agency, sometimes you don't have a full budget for marketing your own content. That's what's great about sites like Unsplash, they're really useful for incorporating engaging imagery with your content without breaking the bank on stock photos from sites like Shutterstock or Getty Images.
