BAE Systems announces that it has agreed with Plexsys and Red 6 to explore the integration of Red 6's augmented reality headset technology and Plexsys' immersive simulation into BAE Systems' unique synthetic training environment. The partners will use BAE Systems' OdySSEy project, combined with Red 6's Advanced Tactical Augmented Reality Systems (ATARS) technology and Plexsys' Advanced Simulation Combat Operations Trainer (ASCOT) simulator. The agreement will see them use this cutting-edge technology alongside the world's leading military forces to provide the training needed for warfare today and in the future.
