The North Texas Reuse Marketplace is sponsored by the North Central Texas Council of Governments, a voluntary association of, by, and for local governments, established in 1966 that covers a 16-county region including Tarrant and Dallas Counties. Utilizing grant funding from Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), NCTCOG will look to Rheaply to advance its existing Materials Management Program, working closely together with the Resource Conservation Council (RCC), cities, counties, school districts, and other entities that aim to help local businesses and nonprofits rethink their waste handling and end-of-life disposition practices.
Rheaply is an Illinois-based resource exchange platform that provides solutions such as asset tracking, surplus exchange, reporting, and inventory management for businesses.
