On Wednesday 16th July 2014, Middlesex University in North London hosted a graduation ceremony for the award of Postgraduate Medical Diplomas for clinicians, who have successfully completed their year long study in diverse specialties such as Cardiology, ENT, Family Medicine, Diabetes...........in educational hubs in London (UK), Delhi (India) and Sharjah/Dubai (United Arab Emirates). Rila Institute of Health Sciences, a collaborative partner of Middlesex University, has developed, and delivers nine such Postgraduate Medical Diplomas, working under the University's validation academic structures. Doctors on the courses have participated in a combination of components (face to face sessions, online reading and assessments, mini exams, interactive webinars, case based discussions and mentorship), culminating in a final examination. All resources and learning materials are specifically commissioned and quality assured by the Rila Institute of Health Services, internal programme directors and external examiners. The Graduation ceremony celebrates and commemorates the hard work that has been put in by students and who have now been awarded a Postgraduate Diploma and which enables their name to be registered on the university roll call. These doctors will go on to provide high quality care to their patients in the respective clinical fields.
