Alaska-based RIM Architects has acquired Honolulu's Kolber Hanssen Mitchell Architects, and is calling the newly acquired firm RIM Architects. Kurt Mitchell, the head of KHMA, which has been in business since 1983, will be RIM's managing principal for Hawaii.
