Rise Bagel: Rise Bagel opening in North Loop

Rise Bagel Co., a homemade bagel business that built a fanbase through appearances at area farmer markets and similar venues, will open its first permanent location in Minneapolis' North Loop neighborhood next year. The Star Tribune reports on plans from Rise owners Jen and Kate Lloyd, who are setting up shop at 530 N. 3rd St. The building, once a candy factory, is owned by Schafer Richardson.
