Sagacious Consultants Blog Introducing Associate Directors of Strategic Revenue

Our Strategic Revenue team is growing as we put even greater emphasis on helping clients achieve their desired financial outcomes. Meet our two newest Associate Directors of Strategic Revenue: Ross Moore and Elaina Bott. Ross Moore joined Sagacious Consultants in April as an Associate Director of Strategic Revenue. He is focused on business development efforts and project oversight for strategic revenue cycle engagements. These engagements allow clients to maximize the return on their EHR investment through the implementation of system optimizations and industry best practices. The engagements also allow clients to achieve their financial objectives through alignment of their people and processes. His specific areas of interest include Patient Access, Coding, Revenue Integrity and Patient Financial Services. Prior to Sagacious Consultants, Ross worked at Huron Consulting Group where he was responsible for managing assessments and implementations focused on revenue cycle process improvement. He also has experience in financial services and data modeling through his prior work at a healthcare-focused investment bank. Ross is based out of Chicago, IL and enjoys spending the weekends with his wife and puppy. When Ross is not with family or working, he can be found at the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business, where he is pursuing his MBA. Elaina Bott began working in healthcare IT over 10 years ago as a member of the Hospital Billing Implementation team at Epic. She has since spent the majority of her career collaborating on revenue cycle system performance improvement strategies with healthcare organizations. She joined Sagacious Consultants from Huron Consulting Group where she was a Director for Epic Revenue Cycle initiatives. Elaina is now focused on partnering Sagacious' Strategic Revenue services with clients who are seeking to improve and sustain revenue cycle outcomes, using technology as a component. Specific areas of interest include change management and culture shifts related to a Centralized Billing Office (CBO), Charge Accountability, Research Compliance, and Mergers and Acquisitions. Elaina resides in the Madison area with her husband and three boys.
