The San Antonio Manufacturers Association has some new leadership. Jeff Garvens, previously the chair-elect of the organization, has become chairman of the board, effective Oct. 1. Garvens took over as chairman from Joe Wilson, who served as head of the board for the last calendar year. Wilson retired from Lockheed Martin Commercial Engine Solutions at Port San Antonio after working there for the last 17 years. He decided to move to be closer to his family on the East Coast.
