Sandstorm Design Blog Welcome Megan, Sandstorm's New Digital Strategist

Petoskey stones, Lake Huron, Red Wings - these are just a few of my favorite things about my home state, Michigan. My passion for advertising and marketing started in Michigan, where I had my first job out of college working on brand strategy and product development in the banking industry. After a couple years, I packed up my car and drove to Boston to pursue a new opportunity at a full-service ad agency where I shifted my focus to digital projects and working directly with creative teams to bring concepts to life. Multiple website redesigns, interactive campaigns, and a few trips to Fenway later, I was ready for a new challenge, which led me to Sandstorm. I'm looking forward to building strong new relationships with clients. Aligning on objectives and expectations are key to kicking off a new project. From there I take pride in making sure the lines of communication are always open, and that the trains are always running on-time. Being new to the Chicago commuter life, I really know how important that is! After hours you'll find me throwing some clay around at a pottery studio, or just throwing a stick around the backyard with my puppy, Soda. On the weekends I enjoy the occasional 5k with my husband, or hopping in the car and heading back to my family's cottage in the Mitten State. Great lakes, great times!
