SAP has strengthened its leadership team in Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) with two appointments, in a plan to accelerate momentum in one of its fastest-growing cloud markets. Brian Senior joins as executive general manager for federal government A/NZ to boost public sector engagement.He joins SAP in Canberra with extensive experience of over 20 years in sovereign hyperscale cloud solutions across federal, defence, state and education sectors within A/NZ.Senior's deep understanding of the public sector landscape, combined with his direct experience in shaping and delivering cloud solutions previously at Google Cloud where he spent over three years.Prior to this he was at Amazon Web Services (AWS) for over eight years in positions including, business development manager, A/NZ federal government sales manager and public sector lead ACT/NSW and spent more than six years at Microsoft."My background and experience in sovereign cloud solutions have provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the unique needs of government agencies," he said."I am excited to help even more organisations maximise the transformative impact of AI and cloud technologies, as they accelerate their digital journey." Joining SAP in its Sydney office will be Gretta Svendsen, who will take the mantel of executive general manager - corporate A/NZ.She will be responsible for driving customer acquisition through partner expansion and SAP's digital channel. Sevendson was previously at Salesforce and has a strong digital sales record.She will leverage the SAP Digital Hub in A/NZ to provide customers with resources and automation to maximise their investment.
