And here we are! I’m finally getting around to posting my first session from Texas. I was able to meet up with some sweet new neighbor friends to do a little family mini session a few weeks ago. Meet: the Cohen family. Becky, Justin, and their newly-turned one year old Levi were so fun to work with and had me breaking a sweat chasing him all over the place! I couldn’t believe how much he’d already mastered walking, and running, and was truly impressed! For our session, we stuck to downtown Roanoke for some fun “city-esque” shots. I usually shoot in fields and trees, so utilizing buildings is slightly out of my comfort zone but I enjoyed the challenge, and loved finding some unique spots in our new town. I’ll for sure have to book another down here – so many great options! The weather thankfully cooperated, though hot. So, so hot! I was worried it might rain, so we had some nice cloud cover most of the time until the sun peaked out of the clouds at the very end, which of course makes my heart sing.
