Someone who suffers from Meniere's disease will usually tell you that it is not an easy condition to deal with. Episodes of extreme vertigo, ringing in the ears, and hearing loss can come on very suddenly, which can be anxiety provoking. Symptoms might go into remission for a period of time, then come back unexpectedly. Meniere's disease is caused by a buildup of excess fluid within the canals of the inner ear.
