With a nice palate of colors and still being produced to sell at or below $100, the Ipsilon resin series of fountain pens, rollerball pens and ballpoint pens is a wonderful way to get into fine European-made pens.The first better pens my wife and I purchased (other than Cross and before we were in the pen business) were Aurora Ipsilon ballpoint pens. I used mine until it died from overuse, while my wife still has hers in the pen holder on her desk at home.
