Grouting contractor SubTechnical, Inc. injects SealGuard II into a launch pit for a tunnel boring machine to stop water infiltration. SealGuard II is fast reacting a dual component polyurethane grout. In this instance, it was injected with a pneumatic pump and a mechanical packer. Note the various injection sites on the rib. This is because the area was extremely porous. When the water infiltration was stopped in one area, it would flow to a different spot.
