Seeo: Bosch to acquire next-generation lithium-ion battery developer Seeo

Auto parts conglomerate Bosch has agreed to acquire next-generation lithium-ion battery developer Seeo Inc., on Friday. No financial terms were disclosed on the deal, but the German company acquired all of Seeo's intellectual property plus its research staff, according to Quartz. Prior to the acquisition, Seeo raised $40.6 million from investors such as Samsung Ventures, GSR Ventures, Khosla Ventures and individuals such as Atiq Raza and Richard Lim.
