SEPTA: SEPTA is renaming some bus and rail routes starting Feb. 24 to create a 'more intuitive' network

Some SEPTA bus and train routes will have new names as the transportation authority tries to streamline rider experience. Starting Monday, Feb. 24, six of SEPTA's seven lettered bus routes will transition to numeric designations. SEPTA Metro lines - which include subway, elevated train and trolley lines - will formally adopt new letter-based names beginning that week, SEPTA said Monday.
