Seven Marine: Volvo unit buys majority of Germantown's Seven Marine

Volvo Group's marine engine and power systems division has agreed to purchase a majority stake in Seven Marine LLC, a Germantown manufacturer of high-performance outboard motors for the luxury market. Volvo Penta has signed an agreement to become the major owner of Seven Marine, which will expand the product lines for the Swedish company to include outboard motors.
