Come donate used hockey equipment to support our local youth hockey players from now until March 26th!At Sheehy Honda we want to help "level the playing" field by providing kids in need with hockey equipment. As part of our Washington Area Honda Dealers partnership with NBC Sports Washington, the Washington Capitals and Leveling the Playing Field organization we'll be collecting any used youth hockey equipment you have lying around the house. We'll collect anything from helmets to skates to elbow pads to sticks, shin guards and gloves.Not only do youth sports help improve agility, coordination, balance, endurance and overall physical health, they also help kids learn teamwork, time management and leadership skills while fostering strong relationships with their peers. There are endless benefits to youth sports which is why we're so excited about this sponsorship. We want to help give as many kids as possible the opportunity to play youth hockey but can't do this without the help of our amazingly supportive community. We'll be collecting used youth hockey equipment from now until March 26th at our dealership.
