Summary: Stirley Farm Trainees have now completed their time at Yorkshire Wildlife TrustMain image: We are coming to the last few weeks of the traineeship with the Wildlife Trust and we cannot believe the year has gone so fast. We have spent the majority of our time at Stirley Farm doing a variety of tasks including surveys, habitat management, dry stone walling, working with the beef short horn cattle and completed 2 km of fencing, however there is 18 km of fencing left to do.We have also been to other sites to help with the Wildlife Trust with conservation such as hedge laying, sign maintenance, wetland management and river conservation for water voles.read more
