Solaris: Solaris purchased by European medical devices company

Solaris Inc., a West Allis manufacturer of medical compression garments, has been purchased by a European conglomerate of medical device and product companies, for an undisclosed amount. Lohmann & Rauscher International GmbH & Co., which has administrative offices in Rengsdorf, Germany, and Vienna, Austria, and 37 subsidiaries around the world, will expand its holdings in the U.S. and add to its product lines with the acquisition.
