Sound World Solutions Blog Bipartisan push for OTC hearing aid legislation

As we noted late last year, there is bi-partisan support on legislation designed to help make hearing care more affordable and accessible. Today, that effort took a step forward with the re-introduction of a bill co-sponsored by Senators Grassley (R-IA), and Warren (D-MA), and now joined by Senators Hassan (D-NH), and Isakson (R-GA). A companion bill was introduced in the House by Representatives Kennedy (D-MA) and Blackburn (R-TN). We support these efforts and look forward to reporting on the progress of these bills.
