South Georgia College: South Georgia State College president announces retirement

South Georgia State College President Virginia Carson is stepping down. The Douglas, Ga.-based school has yet to name a successor. Carson was appointed interim president of South Georgia College in March 2008 and officially took over as president in April 2009.
