By Marie Goe
Rusty Goe expressed his gratitude for being in his own backyard (in
familiar surroundings) presenting a talk to a roomful of people who shared
similar passions about Nevada’s history. With that, he launched his
presentation in the Nevada State Museum’s south gallery. He started by
informing the audience that the south gallery is space that once served as
the Carson City Mint’s gold and silver melting room.
