Springpath: Cisco acquires software startup, Springpath, for $320 million

Cisco, the hardware firm that has around 300 Irish employees and two R&D facilities in Dublin and Galway, has agreed to acquire a software startup for $320 million as it seeks to focus more of its efforts on its software centric technology business.
