Sprouting lentilsAbout Sprouting: So when I make salads I always have sprouts handy to add some extra nutrients. It's easy and really tasty to do. You take organic lentils (not canned)... Clean well Soak overnight rinse again then drain Use a glass jar and add lentils to jar put paper towel with a rubber band on top of the jar to close it Rinse 2 times a day, morning/night Then within a couple days you will see them start to sprout, after 2 days they will be ready to eat and you can store them in the fridge, they will stay good in the fridge for up to 3 days. Sometimes I snack on them too, or else add to salads or even shakes. Below is a picture of what they should look like once sprouted
