Staffmark Blog Kicking Off a New Charitable Partnership with a Pie-in-the-Face Fundraiser

At the end of 2019, Staffmark Group, our parent company, assembled a Sustainability Task Force made up of team members from various departments within our organization. This team has been meeting regularly to brainstorm and plan ways that our organization can make a meaningful impact in our communities in these five ways:Inspire new ways of workingClose the opportunity gapCelebrate diversity and inclusionRespect human rightsConserve the environmentOne of the Task Force's first initiatives was to select a charitable organization to support-one that felt like a natural extension of our own mission. We are thrilled to announce that we have chosen to partner with Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Greater Cincinnati!BBBS is passionate about connecting people to each other and seeing the potential in others, and they use the power of mentorship to change lives. We are honored to play a role in helping them expand their reach. We chose the Greater Cincinnati chapter because Staffmark Group is headquartered in Cincinnati. Our teams across the country will also have opportunities to connect with their local chapters.First FundraiserOne of Staffmark Group's core values is FUN, and we're kicking off this new partnership with a FUNdraising initiative that puts the focus on fun! We've set a $6,000 goal, which will allow us to sponsor five Littles (children). The funds will be used to recruit new Bigs (volunteers), cover the cost of background checks, and provide cultural and social activities to enrich the experience.When we hit our goal, all of our executive team members will take a pie in the face.
