After a few slices of "pizza" and a great conversation about the dairy farms they both grew up on, the rest was history. The couple was married in 2014 and are arriving at their 4rd duty station as a couple to begin their DIY adventure.Ryan is a Damage Controlman 1st Class Select in the United States Coast Guard. He has been an active duty member for 7 years and plans to spend his career as a "Coastie". He has been blessed to travel across the country and to many foreign ports during his time in the Coast Guard. As a DC1 in the Coast Guard, being handy is an absolute must. His military experience combined with a wealth of knowledge about DIY attained while growing up, makes projects a fun and natural task.Lynn runs a marketing consulting business from her home and employs many military spouses within her community. She has spent years within the industry, expanding her knowledge and helping small businesses grow. Lynn has knowledge of DIY projects from years spent helping her father with his HVAC company.Ryan and Lynn will be moving from the Home of the Conch Republic, Key West, FL, to Suffolk, VA. This is near Lynn's family and friends who will also be making guest appearances during the projects. During the course of the project there will be times that Lynn's husband is away. This is a reality that military spouses face so Lynn will recruit her support system as guest stars on more difficult tasks and contractors on larger scale projects. Besides, no weekend warrior project is ever complete without some buddies!LRB_Home_300px.jpgThe HomeThe home is a 3BR, 2.5 Bath with an additional FROG space (Finished Room Over Garage).
