A local attorney has been selected to take command of the U.S. Army Reserve's 10th Legal Operations Detachment, which falls under the U.S. Army Reserve Legal Command out of Gaithersburg, Maryland. Carl "Trey" K. Dowdey III, an attorney in the Birmingham office of Swift Currie McGhee & Hiers LLP, will take on the role on June 22.
