SwissOptic: Jenoptik Acquires Three Companies

Jenoptik will acquire Berliner Glas Medical Applications GmbH (Berliner Glas Medical), SwissOptic AG, and SwissOptic (Wuhan) Co. Ltd. Jenoptik is acquiring the companies from Berliner Glas GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of ASML Holding NV. Berliner Glas was acquired by lithography systems manufacturer ASML in 2020. "Jenoptik will deepen its existing, long-standing business relationship with ASML, one of the key players in the semiconductor industry, as a reliable supplier and strategic partner," Jenoptik said in a press release.
