A fire early July 27 at Sylvia's Enchilada Kitchen that damaged part of the roof will keep the restaurant closed for several days. Owner Sylvia Casares said in an emailed statement that the fire broke out around 1 a.m. in the kitchen area at Sylvia's 6401 Woodway Drive location, but the Houston Fire Department contained the blaze.
