Sysco Guest Supply: Sysco subsidiary makes acquisition

New Jersey-based Guest Supply, a wholly owned subsidiary of Houston-based Sysco Corp. (NYSE: SYY), acquired Gilchrist & Soames, which provides luxury personal care amenities to the hospitality industry. Although financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, Guest Supply noted that Indianapolis-based Gilchrist has annual sales of $60 million.
