Systems Maintenance Services: Charlotte data-center services company merges with West Coast firm

Charlotte-based Systems Maintenance Service Inc. is merging with a West Coast firm to create a 2,000-employee data-center services company with annual revenues of $500 million. The combined company will be called SMS|Curvature and will split headquarters between Charlotte and Santa Barbara, Calif., the current home of Curvature.
