TERA: CH2M Hill buys Canadian firm focused on energy and environment

CH2M Hill Cos. Ltd., a global design and engineering firm, has purchased TERA Environmental Consultants, a Canadian environmental consulting firm that has worked with pipeline and powerline clients and oil and gas companies for 30 years. Terms of the deal, announced Friday, were not disclosed. The deal is expected to close in the second quarter of 2014, CH2M Hill said. TERA, based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, has 450 employees.
