Thales: Thales: Q1 sales up 12%

Thales has reported Q1 2025 sales that are up 12.2% to €4.96bn, including organic growth of nearly 10%, illustrating the strong momentum of its defense and avionics businesses. From a geographical perspective, revenue grew strongly in both mature markets (+9.7% organic growth), particularly in the UK (+14.9%), and in emerging markets, with organic growth of 10.5%. Despite a 25% decline in orders to €3.78 billion (-27% organic) "due to a very high basis of comparison, particularly in the defense sector, the group claims "excellent visibility." Therefore, in the absence of changes in the macroeconomic and geopolitical environment and new developments in customs tariffs, Thales confirms all its objectives for 2025, including a book-to-bill ratio of over one.
