Thar Pharmaceuticals: Thar Pharmaceuticals acquired by German company

Pittsburgh-based Thar Pharmaceuticals has been acquired by Grünenthal, a German-based pharmaceutical company. A purchase price wasn't disclosed. Grünenthal said in a statement Wednesday announcing the purchase that Thar's compound, T121, would be used to help expand its own treatment of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, which is marked by severe and persistent pain.
