The Grocers Supply: Major distributor to acquire key operations of Houston's Grocers Supply

Keene, N.H.-based C&S, the nation's largest wholesale grocery supplier, will take over a distribution and supply business that serves grocery chains around Houston, Dallas and the Rio Grande Valley. "The Grocers Supply Company has a century-long legacy of providing the highest level of service to its valued customers, which are primarily independent retailers and regional chains," Rick Cohen, C&S chairman and CEO, said in a statement.
