☐ Camp takes place at New Roads School campus (school is not in session 3131 Olympic Boulevard, Santa Monica, CA 90404
☐ Run Date: August 5th - 9th, 2019 (10am - 4pm)
☐ Transportation and lunch vouchers available
☐ Students should demonstrate a high level of promise and proficiency at the High School level
☐ Students should be drawn on needs basis, tuition is free
☐ Faculty will be drawn from the Los Angeles area at the direction of Jazz Bakery’s artistic director Ruth Price, executive director John Clayton and camp director Ray Briggs
☐ Curriculum will include individualized, small unit and big band learning environments
☐ Studies will include theory and composition as well as local jazz (West Coast) History and Jazz master demonstration
☐ Instruments participating will be saxophone, trumpet, bass, guitar, drums, piano and vocals
☐ Final Friday August 9th evening recital will be open to friends, family and community
