Kroger: Kroger makes 'trendy' shelf change to nearly 2,800 locations - and exec promises shoppers will see better 'price point'

KROGER has made a trendy shelf change to 900 items this year at its near 2,800 locations. The popular US Retailer has introduced five new items that will be hitting its stores, and is on track to launch many more in 2025. 2 A Kroger press release has revealed five new items that have been dubbed "exciting" and "trendy" by Mike Murphy, Kroger's group vice president of center store merchandising. The five items include chips, tea and a sweet treat set to make your breakfast sweeter than ever before. Murphy said: "Kroger Our Brands' unmatched flavor and value make them a favorite for many customers. "Our product innovation is rooted in a deep understanding of what our customers want and need. "We know these exciting, trendy items will soon earn a place on families' dinner tables because they offer great flavors at a price point that fits any budget." The first item is Private Selection's salad kits, which can elevate a lunch made on a time crunch. The kits include a variety of fresh, high-quality ingredients, including crisp greens, vibrant vegetables and flavorful dressings. All of the kits are prepped and ready to toss together at a moments notice. The lineup of kits includes a combination of fan-favorite flavors and one-of-a-kind tastes. Kroger shoppers can now enjoy the Cheddar Truffle, Blueberry, Cheddar Bacon Poblano, Sweet Onion Gruyere, Cherry Bacon Cheddar and Asian Sesame Ginger. Next up is the tortilla chips made in a kettle style, taking the retailer's staple tortilla chips and making a new variety. The chips are available in two varieties: Traditional and Hatch Chile. If you're looking for something to put on top of your salad kit, you could try the new Italian dressing. The sauce is made with Italian spices, oil, vinegar and real Romano cheese. Heading in a slightly different direction now, the Instance Mushroom Tea is available in Black and Chai blends. Kroger offers same day delivery via Instacart Shoppers can pay $6.95 for delivery within two hours. Those who need something quicker can get items in as little as 30 minutes. Orders must be a minimum of $10 to get quicker delivery. Customers can save $15 on their first delivery order of $75 or more The tea is notable for harnessing the inherent natural benefits of mushrooms to support your wellness. And finally, Private Selection is dropping new muffins in a range of flavors. The muffins range from rich to refreshing, all with the perfect amount of sweetness. Flavors include Banana Bread, Blueberry Lemon, Coffee Cake and Triple Chocolate.
