Kroger: Urge Kroger to Continue Grocery Delivery Service in Local Florida Areas; Madison County

We are residents of Lee, Dowling Park, and Madison, FL (Madison County, FL), who cherish the convenience and accessibility Kroger offers through its grocery delivery service. For many of us, Kroger is the only option for this service, making a tangible difference to our everyday lives. However, we've been recently confronted with the distressing news that Kroger intends to discontinue its delivery service in our towns after 4/26/25. This move will significantly impact the residents of these areas, especially those who are elderly, disabled, or otherwise unable to make regular trips shopping inside the supermarket. Our towns have no pickup options as well, making Kroger delivery a valuable asset to our communities. A 2020 report indicates that 43.5 million Americans relied on grocery delivery services, underscoring their importance for communities across the country (source: Business Insider). Our local areas in Madison County, Florida are not an exception. We understand the complex business decisions Kroger has to face, but we believe this particular decision overlooks the value of its services to our communities. This is why we are sending this message to Kroger's Corporate Executive Office. We ask you to reconsider discontinuing the grocery delivery service in our towns. Please keep Lee, Dowling Park, and Madison, Florida, (Madison County) on Kroger's delivery map after 4/26/25. Please sign this petition to show your support - let's remind Kroger that their services contribute significantly to our communities and your voice matters!
