Barton Hill Hotel & Spa, the stylish riverfront boutique hotel set along the Niagara River, has appointed Gerry Rosés, an experienced hospitality professional, as general manager. Rosés comes to Barton Hill Hotel & Spa with over 20 years of experience in the hospitality and travel industry, most recently as rooms division director of the Sheraton at the Falls. Previously, Rosés held leadership positions at hotels including the Holiday Inn Secaucus Meadowlands (N.J.), the Ocean Vista Resort (N.Y.), and Springhill Suites by Marriott (N.J.). At Barton Hill Hotel & Spa, Rosés will oversee hotel operations including sales, revenue generation, revenue management, human resources, and more. Rosés was born and raised in the Philippines where he ran his family's restaurant and café. He moved to New York in 1980 where he launched his career in the hotel industry.
