Genuine Parts Co. (NYSE: GPC) will buy Guilford, Conn.-based The Safety Zone LLC for an undisclosed amount. Atlanta-based Genuine Parts said the addition of the direct importer and distributor of supplies and devices for safety, janitorial, medical, food service and food processing applications will generate $180 million in annual revenue.
