Last night my niece Kaitlyn married Justin in the wedding of her dreams. In Napa Valley, at Sattui Winery with dinner in a candlit wine cellar we were all enchanted. (It was more beautiful than the great hall in Beauty and the Beast!) And the flower girls - Kaitlyn did a lot of baby sitting to put herself through school so she had 6 of them - all in white leotards with pink tutus, white headbands with beads and flowers and pink ribbons. Adorable and ecstsatic to be such an important part of the wedding - Kaitlyn even made sure there was a low table just for them during dinner with a great big bear in the middle with pink and white ribbons and a tutu of course.Kaityln hald this vision all through a difficult childhood, graduate level studies, and making her way in the world. Then she met the man of her dreams and even as a vet returning from Iraq he loved her wedding plans. Every photo shoot, pink ribbon and tender moment of it..Kait taught me about the power of dreams last night. She looked so satisfied during every part of the evening. Really taking it in, she was settled and glowing. Her feminine wisdom naturally in full flame.Sometimes I seem to hesitate to claim my dreams - do you do that too? It will cost too much, I don't have time, it's a silly dream...these take over and the magic of my imaginings dim. Today, as I prepare 2 more chapters to send out to our Reader's Club I'm going to take a risk and feel just how much I want this book finished and in each of your hands. It means so much to me because getting to know my own feminine wisdom certainly changed my life around and it's doing the same for all the women in our Next Octave program! Significant change to the life they always wanted to live. What dream do you want to love? Write it down and put it in a box or a basket for safe keeping. Mine's there too.
