Seriously, if you could have seen the way Fay and I "wobbled" the first year we hosted teleclasses, you would chuckle with us. Where do you think we got all these great strategies for women business owners? Today, Cathy Mores shared her inspiration with us as she finished the Momentum teleseminar exercises! Cathy, you got me thinking about my own leadership as a woman and my own work in a different way today! You are set to SOAR this year."This homeplay really, really opened my eyes....and I am filled with gratitude. Seeing the words in black and white confirmed some of the thoughts and internal struggles I've had with moving the business forward-and combined with the coaching challenge, definitely helps to face the "alligators" that exist with reaching higher. (Karen, the metaphor has stuck with me all week!)It's very interesting--before starting these exercises, I thought I knew where I stood, how I thought I viewed myself as an artist, photographer, business woman. Now reflecting on them afterward, while I still know where my feet are planted, my arms are reaching in a new direction filled with life and breath. It's very powerful and so electrifying. I see now that the vision I have for myself and the business is greater than I imagined. Still so many questions to be answered, but the light of the ideas exist -- and it's that spark that creates big change!"Writing it down is so important to knowing what you know and discovering your deepest desires and dreams. To pick up on one of the Momentum teleseminar themes: What are the "alligators" in your work and life that you are avoiding/swimming away from as fast as you can? How could you turn and facet them - and maybe even "shake hands?" (Stay with me here - I know that Alligators have those big teeth in the way of their hands but sometimes the hardest, scariest things in our lives turn gentle when we facet them with love!) What are 3 "alligators" that you need to wrestle with but you are running away from?
